Disability pride is about disabled people coming together, being publicly proud of who we are, celebrating ourselves, and demanding inclusion. It doesnβt just fight back against stigma, or raise awareness, or even ask for access. It REPLACES these things with joy, celebration and power.
This FREE Multisport event is for people with any type of disability to try new sports and make new friends in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
Run by the Cerebral Palsy Sporting and Recreation Association in conjunction with City Community Tennis, this day is a great opportunity to try sport for the first time or connect with other people with disabilities.
For CPSARA members, this is an opportunity to enjoy a great day out with your fellow members – try a new sport, make new friends and support participants new to sport too!

International Day of People with Disability event
Unfortunately, our International Day of People with Disability event on Saturday 30th November had to be postponed due to the rain. However, we have rescheduled the event to Sunday, January 19th at Allianz Stadium. Participants will receive their own Sydney FC training kit, run out onto the Allianz Stadium field of play before participating in tailored sporting activity on the field.
We will be running our fourth Sydney FC Empowers Me holiday clinic on Thursday 23rd January at Sky Park, home of Sydney FC. The clinic will be focused on tailored sporting activity, looking at building confidence, resilience, teamwork, coordination and other important skills. The clinic will run from 11.30am β 2.30pm.
The amazing EPIC-CP team have put together a handbook to help families of children with cerebral palsy connect with community resources that provide support.
Join Sydney FC Foundation at Allianz Stadium for an afternoon of fun, along with amazing sporting and football activity. Get ready in the changing rooms and walk out through the tunnel on to the pitch just like your favourite Sydney FC players do on gameday!
We are delighted to have activity also being delivered by I’Mpossible, a life changing program for young people with a disability.
